About Us

PTM&W Industries, Inc. formulates and manufactures epoxy and polyurethane resin systems for production composites, composite tooling, production and rapid prototyping applications. We have been a leading supplier of thermosetting plastic systems and specialty chemicals since 1961, providing high performance materials to a broad range of industries on a direct basis and though our distribution network in North America and internationally.

Among the products we make are epoxy laminating, infusion, surface coat, casting and adhesive resin systems. Our polyurethane systems for production and prototypes offer exceptional toughness and impact strength and very high heat resistance, for durable long-term performance. The tooling urethanes in our line provide superior abrasion resistance, maximum toughness and long-term durability for the most demanding uses. We carry a large inventory for immediate shipping, and offer attractive pricing.

PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT

High Modulus Urethane For Production And Prototyping Applications

PT8976 is a new urethane casting system that provides a balance of high physical properties to produce parts and assemblies that have improved toughness and durability. Parts made with PT8976 will have good rigidity and stiffness due to its very high modulus, and excellent resistance to breakage due to its very high tensile and impact strengths.

PTM&W Product Lines

Epoxy Tooling Materials

The PTM&W epoxy tooling line is an extensive group of materials designed to provide tough, durable molds, patterns and tools for both room temperature and high temperature service. Included in these products are surface coat systems, laminating materials and casting compounds that are tailored for specific areas of application.

More info

Prototyping Materials

These epoxy and polyurethane products for production and prototyping applications combine ease of handling with superior cured physicals, to provide short run and production parts with many beneficial properties. The proper choice from these products will allow the user to duplicate the properties of a number of engineering plastics with low-cost tooling in a very short time.

More info

Infusion Epoxy

These high performance epoxy systems for vacuum infusion fabrication and tooling processes provide cured products for ambient temperature use as well as elevated and extremely high temperature service environments. Low viscosities for rapid infusion, easy curing cycles and very high performance are typical with these systems.

More info

Poly Filler

The POLY FILLER products are two component polyester filler paste systems that provide the user both unique ease of handling and high performance cured characteristics. They have very low cured shrinkage and therefore allow faster application and repairs than with other filler pastes, which usually must be applied in several layers

Tooling Urethanes

Polyurethane elastomers are very versatile materials that are used for a wide variety of industrial applications including high performance tooling, molds, dies and fixtures. They vary in hardness from very soft, elastomeric materials with high elongation to hard, rigid products with extremely tough cured properties.

More info

Adhesives

We manufacture a wide variety of structural adhesives for industrial applications. From thin liquid systems to smooth thixotropic pastes, we have formulas that will provide strong structural bonds to a wide variety of surfaces. If a requirement cannot be fulfilled by our standard products, we can design a high performance adhesive that works for you.

Poly-Cure 1000

POLY-CURE 1000 is Methylene bis Methyl Anthranilate, an amine urethane curative. The Methyl Anthranilate monomer from which POLY-CURE 1000 is made has been approved for use in foods and perfume by the FDA, so Poly-Cure 1000 is safer than other urethane curatives traditionally used.

More info

Replicast Urethane

The REPLICAST line of products consists of hard, rigid, fast setting general purpose urethane systems for the rapid production of temporary and short-run tooling and various jigs and fixtures, as well as rigid, durable shapes and parts.

More info

Processing Materials

PTM&W provides a variety of ancillary materials, including release agents for tooling and production, bulk fillers for reinforcement and added properties, tooling brushes and squeegees for ease of application and color dispersions for both epoxies and polyurethanes.
